Best Beach Equipment
This is where it all started. Like a lot of parents lucky enough to live near the coast, the first lockdown saw us spending more time at the beach than ever before.
Soon the new daily commute included bodyboards, wetsuits, tents, BBQs and a whole range of other bits and bobs. The products featured have been bought personally by myself and used regularly. We’ve also written in depth reviews, so if you need a bit more info check them out here. We feature only the best beach equipment so you know everything listed is a great product.
In case you’re wondering where to start, it’s the foldable cart. It’s been a total lifesaver!
Kelly Kettle
I have this! Love it.! This little beauty allows you to bring 1.6l of water to the boil incredibly quickly. It’s pretty much the definition of outwards bounds. Smaller versions available for ultralight and the whole thing can be expanded to a full on stove.
£64.95
Sekey Foldable Cart
I have this! The beach buggy to end all beach buggies! Carries all the shit needed for day on the sand. Fat wheels means it rarely gets stuck and holds a surprising amount to gear. Essential!

Easthills Outdoor Shader
We have this! It’s one of the main parts of our Beach Getup. You can read the full review here. Easy to put and down, packs away into a hand carry bag. The whole thing can close up for privacy and it’s easily big enough for an adult to use for changing. We love it.

Valiant Folding Portable BBQ
Without a doubt the best portal BBQ I’ve used. You can check out the full review here. It’s like a small briefcase that cooks sausages. Takes a small bag of easy light charcoal and is ready to cook in about 20mins. Easily enough time to cook and then toast marshmallows afterwards.
£44.99
Mini Roll-up Camping Table
It’s a small folding table that’s incredibly light. Roll it up, stick it in the backpack, it’s so incredibly useful you’ll wonder how you survived without one. This has been a permanent addition to our days at the beach.

10 Yards Nylon Heavy Webbing
What does a rucksack always need more of? That’s right – webbing! 10 yards of the stuff including buckles and fastenings. Great value.

HandiRack Car Roof Rack
This is a revolution in car roof racks. It’s inflatable and can easily hold a surfboard. Just about fits any car too. We use it to move the SUPs about and it’s never let us down.
£54.95
Surf Locking Tie Down Straps
Goes hand in hand with the roof rack. These extra strong straps mean your board can be securely tied to the roof of the car without any scratching.
